• Groups of 4
• Select a passage from the first 3 chapters- no repeats
• 5 layers of text activity

Here is how the 5 Layers of Text works:

1. You need to get into groups of 3-4

2. Each person in the group needs to select a different passage from the text.  I would say you need to at least a paragraph.  I think 2 paragraphs would be ideal.  Again, everyone needs to select a DIFFERENT passage.  You may select a passage from chapters 1, 2, or 3

3. You then need to complete the questions in the DOC linked above.  What you write here will be your script for when you talk with your group later.
